.... The new laws submitted by the Hitler government to the German Reichstag open a new era in the national life of Germany and have naturally caused sensation abroad. It is evident that the new Jewish laws - the law for the protection of German Blood and Honour and the Citizenship Law - are at the centre of discussion. One has to admit that the new government of the Reich is promoting a solution to this apparently so complex problem, that is not only consistent with our world view, but is also compliant with possible demands of the Jewish minority in Germany. No one can claim that these laws were passed to harm Jewry. An objective examination will show that in fact - as the very name indicates - these laws are destined to protect German blood, but they will also protect the Jews. Law number two indicates precisely that the German man who commits race defilement with a Jewish girl will be punished. The laws in their entirety will produce a clear separation between Germandom and Jewry, which is the only way to permit a tolerable co-existence between the two races. Reichstag President Goering, spoke clearly of this aim of the new legislation. The German government has proven that it will not permit the solution of the Jewish question to be the result of uncontrolled action, but that it is committed to law and order. Considering the list of reproaches the German people has against Jewry - all the humiliation and slander, the exploitation and degradation, and all the open wounds ΓÇô members of the Jewish race should consider themselves fortunate that Adolf Hitler is so generous. Any other people would have declared their destroyers free prey. But Germany instead offers state protection and legal order! It is now up to Jewry itself to build its continued existence in Germany. The National Socialist State created a foundation and framework for the life of the Jewish race in Germany as a resident-guest people. We demand only that they stick to the rules that are indisputable for every European people. Upholding the new laws will be the best protection for Jewry. Once the Jewish side will finally stop faking and misleading others by presenting themselves as Germans, or in other words by sticking their fingers into the affairs of the German people; once they respect the honour of the German women, no further harm will come to them than to any other people living within our borders. In his brief speech to the Reichstag , the Fuehrer repeated his appeal to his followers to continue to act in a disciplined manner, as they have up to now. This is a necessity for the future of Germany as a country of law and order. If until now most Jewish crimes have not been dealt with legally, this will change in the future. The State attorneys will keep an open eye and make sure that the new laws in fact protect the German people as the Reich government intended. All of the incidents that have enraged the population in recent months will be proscribed in the future. Another of the Movement's goals has been accomplished; a new phase of the revolution has been completed. It was carried out through the means in which Germany excels - by means of order and discipline.
